Willetts Properties is a full service Real Estate Company owned and managed by Emily Willetts. Devoted to all aspects of real estate, our business has now expanded to include the acquisition and marketing of New Homes Communities and Property Development.
Originally from Seattle, Emily married her husband Bill, a Brunswick County native, in 1964 and relocated to the area. She began her real estate business over 38 years ago and has been a consistent multi-million dollar producer throughout her career.
Education and achievement have always been priorities for Emily. This has led her to obtain designations and leadership positions within the industry and earned her a reputation she "wouldn't trade for anything" - that of honesty, integrity and knowledge of the real estate business that she loves. Her business continues to thrive, coming 100% from personal referrals from her much-valued clients and agent relationships built upon through years of networking nationwide.
Emily's consistent thinking "outside of the box", fueled her desire to create an organization that not only meets these challenges, but allows her to continue to lead the way in today's global marketplace. This innovative management style led her to be the first in the area to hire a full time Sales and Marketing Director whose focus is developing and orchestrating the most effective way generate viable leads.
Generating viable leads, however, is not the only component that results in the sale of real estate. This requires an agent whose wisdom and expertise can match qualified buyers with listings. Emily has assembled a team of the areas top-producing Brokers, whose standard of excellence patterns her own.

Married, husband Jerry who retired from State of N C and Coast Guard. Two sons and three grandchildren.
I love to travel and have been to Europe many times, Hawaii twice and spent 3 years in the Caribbean, mainly St Croix and San Juan. In my younger days I was an avid tennis player and loved water skiing. Now it's reading. I do love this area and try to contribute something through volunteering with local civic and community organizations.
I am a Past President of Lions Club, and the NC 4th of July Celebration. Other communitiy activities include Southport Historical Society, Southport/Oak island Chamber of Commerce, Dosher Hospital Volunteers, Trinity United Methodist and various civic organizations. Of course, I am a member of the local, state and national real estate trade organizations.
I love interacting with people and showing them this great community. I came here with the intention of staying two years and never left. Yes, we all know the weather is perfect but it's all the other things that make this area so attractive. A fantastic mix of people from all socio/economic backgrounds, an area rich in history and limitless recreational oppourtunies with the ocean, Intracoastal Waterway and creeks and streams everywhere.

Jerry and Patricia Wisdo hail from the Winston-Salem, NC were they lived with their 3 sons for over 23 years. They originally moved from Hershey, PA in 1983 when Jerry was transferred by his company and North Caroline soon became home. In 2006 Jerry and Patricia retired and moved to Southport. Still being young in age and heart they wanted to do something together and meet people, real estate fit the bill. After receiving their license in 2006 they joined Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty. In August of 2009 Jerry and Patricia were honored to join the Willetts team, with over 38 combined years of sales, financial and marketing experience.
Patricia comes with a strong background in sales, both having owned her own business, along with working for a national company in local and corporate sales. Jerry being from the corporate world adds his financial and acquisition expertise, having an solid emphasis on being customer focused and result oriented.
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional, integrity, market knowledge, effective negotiation skills, all of which are hallmarks of how they work. That said, in their experience as being a part of the Willetts Properties Team as real estate professionals, they have also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting their clients first. This means keeping themselves accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to the needs of their clients.

Rob lives on Oak Island. Rob specializes in general brokerage from Wilmington to South Carolina.
Rob Dooley joined the Willetts Team in January 2008. Rob moved from Virginia to the Southport area in 2005 with his beautiful wife Christy. Rob has a Culinary Arts degree and experience in Management from Restaurants to Newspapers prior to entering real estate. Rob brings many years of general brokerage, technical expertise and real estate office management to the Team.
